Group Trips

Our client, Ron Reasoner, (photo to the left) with his 41lb dorado caught out of the HOTEL OASIS in Loreto last week. Many fish over 45 lbs, lots of squid, sailfish, tuna and marlin. East Cape fishing is also wide open. Fishing report from our client Ed Watson, just back from the East Cape, reports big marlin, plenty of tuna and BIG dorado. Loreto 2008 Tournament

The winners pictured to the left are Ed Peska & Art Anderson, team "Dos Diablos". The 2nd place team was Bob Johnston & Dale White, team "Reel Deal". The biggest Yellowtail was caught by Bob Johnston, 30 lbs. Third place was won by Larry and Marlise Kamp, team "Sushi" . The warm weather calm waters added to a wonderful trip with lots of great yellowtail fishing. Fish were boiling on the surface so the favored approach was to throw a bait or jig into the boil and see it instantly attacked by big Yellowtail. Kip & Chris Adam, owners of Big Game Fishing, Inc, were on the trip and caught 7 Yellowtail from 25-31 lbs. A huge 45 lb Yellowtail was caught off Isla del Carmen while we were there...what a fish! Also, plenty of wildlife, whales, porpoise, tortugas and birds of all variety. Loreto is truly an eco-wonderland.
