The 45 minute flight to Puerto Jiménez is over cloud-laced coffee, banana, and palm oil plantations, skirts a coast of postcard, miles-long beaches and winding rivers, onto the "Sweet Gulf" that is home to Crocodile Bay Lodge. Clearing the runway of dogs, bicylists, and schoolkids taking the short cut, your plane lands on a strip that would make Indiana Jones feel right at home. The waiting (CBL) van then takes you the 2 minute ride to the Lodge where, tropical drink in hand you can decide how to start your adventure vacation.
